Defining model structure

The structured model types must be defined in the Model window by specifying the composition, density, molecular weight and IMFPs of the layers. The parameters of the IMFP calculations are given in the IMFP & Contamination window. The layer thickness can be fixed (kept constant during the fitting procedure) or linked (declared to be equal with an other layer).
