Our primary field of research is focused on the study of special polymer structures and state-of-the-art polymerisation techniques. Research activity at the department involves both applied and basic research, often in cooperation with several industrial partners including some multinational firms.

Because of the outstanding academic levels, the high command of foreign languages and the considerable international research experience that are standard in our group, we were quick to become one of the most productive departments at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
